We find that many people tend to make the job of taking care of their pools and spas much more difficult than it has to be.  The reasons for this difficulty are many and varied.  But the best advice that we can offer any individual who is having or has had problems repeatedly in the past, is to follow these two important rules:

1. DON'T necessarily take as "Gospel" the advice of your next door neighbor or your brother-in-law because they tell you, "I've had my pool/spa for over 10 years now and have NEVER had any problems with it!  Here's what you want to do......"
2. DO educate yourself as to the particular pool/spa care system that you have decided to use and then follow the directions of that manufacturer or company.
