Just fill the spa with a garden hose, plug it in, and turn it on. That's all there is to it. And since a portable spa is generally not installed below ground, you can even take it with you if you move.
Many Hot Spring models operate on 115 volts, so there's no need for hard wiring, and electrical hook-up costs are minimized. However, if your situation calls for it, every Hot Spring model can operate on 230 volts as well. Your dealer can help you determine which voltage best suits your needs.
