THE FUN SHOULDN'T END WHEN THE ELECTRICITY BILL SHOWS UP!

How much will it cost to operate a Hot Spring spa? That depends on the model you own, the temperature you set, your frequency of use, the mean ambient temperature and the cost of electricity where you live. To get an idea, try our Online Energy Calculator*.  Based on actual, documented energy consumption of a mid-sized Hot Spring spa in heavy use, based on rigorous testing conducted by Exponent, Inc., the nation's leading independent scientific and engineering firm. 

*When using the calculator, our immediate area has a year round average temperature of 55 degrees, similar to that of St. Louis, MO, which is listed there for your convenience.

*If you don't know your rate per KWH (Killowatt Hour), take a look at you electric bill.  Simply divide the number of KWH that your bill shows that you used for the given period into the total of the bill.  Example: If your electric bill was $125, and the bill shows that you used 1,525 KWH, then your charge per KWH is 7.6 cents per KWH ($125 divided by 1,625 = .076) If you don't have an electric bill handy, most every local AEP customer in this part of the world is probably paying between.07 and .08 cents per killowatt hour, including all the miscellaneous service fees and miscellaneous charges that appear on the monthly bills.)

Remember, your actual cost will vary based upon the model you select and your usage pattern.
